I haven't watched Top Chef in years. Don't even know its channel now, but I did like it back in the day, despite not being fond of competitions.

I get concerns about or dislike of the competition genre. Top Chef's contestants are of such high caliber though. And it's a long process, not an hour. Given that, I've learned some stuff from, and been amazed by, the cooks on Chopped. What can I say, I'm a tv slut.
Still love Sheldon. And Shirley. Hard to pick a favorite. The former in my heart, the latter in my head? or vice versa.

:D So am I, Carla. No shame in that. I do like Chopped, although it is rushed due to time constraints. So much of Food Network's programming is really stupid competition, it's easy to lose sight of shows where one really can learn something. How many shows about cupcakes do we really need? I realize Top Chef is not Food Network, & if I ever figure out when & where it is shown, I'll try to watch it.

Well, I'm a tv slut too but for comedy. I haven't seen any cooking shows in forever.
