Rose's Mango Mojito Mix

Postby Myrealana » Fri Sep 19, 2008 11:49 am

I picked up some Rose's Mango Mojito Mix at Super Target the other day, on a whim.

I was just looking for something to do with all the leftover rum from the Oscar party, and this looked promising.

It's only about $3.59 for a bottle, so it's not terribly expensive, and it's not bad. The taste and mouth-feel don't compare to a real, freshly made mojito, (with or without mango) but it's not terrible. That's about the best I can say for it.

I give it an unenthusiastic "meh."
GONE, BABY, GONE.

I know it's been a while since this was posted, but I just had to chime in...

As well you should. :D

I know I'm going to sound like a snob, but mixes should be strictly reserved for "in a hurry" drinks (which should never happen, IMHO), or for friends and family that are just too accustomed to sickly sweet cocktails.

You're right about freshly mixed Mojitos. They are awesome.

When life gives you lemons, make Sazeracs.
