Quizzy's Meatloaf

Postby Quizmistress » Sat Oct 23, 2010 10:36 pm

~1.5 lbs ground chuck
1 lb bulk mild italian sausage
1 c. bread crumbs
2 T. finely chopped celery
1 egg
1-2 T. favorite steak sauce
1 can UNdiluted vegetable beef soup
1-2 T. chopped parsley- fresh or dried
1T. chopped onion
2 T. red wine

Mix all but the soup together well. Add in soup & mix just enough, but not so much that you break up the veggies. Put in your baking vessel of choice, but I would suggest you put a few small metal skewers in the meat to distribute heat to cook through faster. Tent with foil for at least the first 1/2 hour. Bake @ 425* until the middle of the meat reaches 165-170*.
