QOTD 11/15: Personal climate

Postby Chef Mongo » Thu Nov 15, 2012 8:03 am

OK, so we've established who is and isn't cold-natured. So imagine this: You get control of the Magical Thermostat, ensuring that wherever you go all day long the temperature will be exactly as you wish it to be. Where do you set it? You can only set it on ONE temperature.

My heater is set on 66 degrees right now. I can wear sweatshirts in the house and keep the gas bill down. :)

Mine's set at about 68.

I'm comfortable at the moment, but it's not that cold outside. I can't stand the cold..I have poor circulation in my hands and feet (always have, even as a child.) So my fingers and toes are sensitive to cold, making me feel cold all over.

When it's really cold and the snow is falling, then I'm hanging around the house with sweatshirts, socks and a bathrobe..with my hands in the pockets.

Yes, I own a snuggie.

68 works for me. I like it a little cooler for relaxing and sleeping, though - I like to curl up under blanket-type things. It's not unheard of for us to keep the window cracked a hair even in the middle of winter.

58 degrees above. (F). You can dress for cold. You can only get *so naked* when it's hot. :C
