1) When I was at the Good Eats 10th Anniversary Meet and Greet, David Traylor told me about how this episode was not pleasant for the staff because because of all the squid that had gone bad. Now I got to see it, and I feel kinda bad that it was just there for show instead of cooked.

2) Is it just me, or does it seem kinda odd that Mr. Brown recently covered salmon and now does an episode that suggests that we shouldn't eat a lot of salmon? I realize that the salmon episode still explained the difference between farmed and wild, and he's not saying cut out all salmon from now on, but I just found the timing amusing.
