Now, let's spend a couple of questions on employment!

You'll note that I did not include "homemaker" as an employment option, as that easily fits under "employed full-time in a home office," doncha think?

I chose unemployed not by choice but only because it is not my choice to be disabled, I'm assuming the real aim of that option was people not able to find a job. I voted before I read the first post, feel free to change it if you want or add disabled.

Personal Administrative Assistant to the CEO
Worldwide Supply Base and Logistics Manager
Runs vacuum cleaner and empties waste containers

I think of "employed" as earning a paycheck. As a SAHM I do NOT earn a paycheck nor do I get to work in a home office. I don't fit any of your options listed.

At the moment, I am unemployed by choice; we're just settling into our new place and until yesterday, all I had to wear were shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops (THAT would certainly make an impression at a job interview!). I would like to find something part-time when I start looking and I know I have no desire to go back to working in television.

Full time outside the home. I usually get on an airplane and fly somewhere every week for a "long term" assignment. However, I've been between assignments for the last 6 weeks, which means I'm "working" from home on any internal initiative that someone needs help with. It doesn't usually amount to much stuff while we're "on the bench" unless they are expecting us to be there for a while if we are being held for an upcoming project.

I guess I'm employed full-time outside the home, although more than half of my work is done from my home office. I could select both part-time out of the home and part time in a home office, but that kind of implies that some of my work is for myself, which it isn't.

Disabled doesn't necessarily mean unable to work. My son is paraplegic, but that's not the reason he's unemployed.

It's the reason I can't work. It's a poll about your work status, not a statement on the abilities of the disabled. Your son would go under one of the other categories besides disabled then.

I chose part time because I work 36 per week...so they don't have to pay me benefits/retirement. I teach on the side for extra duckets. The life of a grant-funded public servant.

Depends on the time of year for a sub sometimes I work a full week and then sometimes not at all
